Conditional logic

It’s personal, not business—
what’s hidden according
to one man’s selection, or
what’s revealed, shoving
other questions further
down. If “no,” the choices
become fewer. If “yes,” how
they multiply, push up over,
and collide, expanding one
on top of the other. With
every calculated query,
submission recedes. Maybe
you’ve changed your mind.
Maybe you want to take it
back, but your answer is
locked, the field is frozen,
the script has already been run.
